TikTok Counter

Cookie Policy

A complete list of what may be stored on your device when you use this site, who puts it there, and how to remove it.

1. The short version

The site sets no first-party tracking cookies of its own. The only cookies you may receive come from two sources: Cloudflare, which protects the network in front of the site, and Google, which serves the advertising that pays for hosting. Playing an embedded TikTok video may also let TikTok set its own cookies.

If advertising consent is required in your region, nothing beyond strictly necessary storage is set until you make a choice, and the choice can be changed at any time from the footer.

A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to store, then sends back on later requests. Local storage is similar but stays on your device and is never sent automatically. A pixel is a tiny image or script that reports that a page was viewed. This policy uses “cookies” to cover all three, because the practical question — what is stored and how do I get rid of it — is the same.

3. What may be stored

Names and durations are those published by the providers at the time of writing and can change without notice. Google documents its advertising cookies in its cookie types reference.

4. How to control cookies

Advertising specifically

In your browser

Blocking all cookies does not break the tools — the counter, viewer and both calculators work without them. It only affects advertising relevance and, on some networks, the challenge that proves you are not a bot.

Where local law requires consent for advertising cookies, a prompt appears before they are set. Accepting enables personalised advertising; declining keeps ads non-personalised. Withdrawing consent later is done through the same controls in the footer, or by clearing site data in your browser. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that happened before it.

6. More information

The privacy policy explains the wider picture: what is collected, why, and how to exercise your rights. Questions about cookies can go to [email protected].
