TikTok viewer

Paste a username to see a profile's totals and the videos TikTok currently exposes, or paste a video link to read its plays, likes, comments and shares — then watch it without installing the app.

Paste @username, a profile link, a video link, or a vm.tiktok.com share link.

Two things this viewer does

A profile lookup returns the account's avatar, bio, follower and like totals, plus a grid of its most recent public videos with a play count on each cover — when TikTok serves that listing to a server-side request. When it does not, the totals still come back and the page says so plainly instead of showing an empty grid with no explanation. A video lookup returns one video's full public counters — plays, likes, comments, shares and saves — along with its length, post date, sound and hashtags.

Both modes play the video through TikTok's own embed player, in the same page, with no app install. That is the entire point of a viewer: you get the content and the numbers in a browser tab, on a device where the app is not available or not wanted.

What it deliberately does not do

  • It does not download. The video file is streamed by TikTok's player, not by this server. Nothing is copied, stored or re-served.
  • It does not see private accounts. A private profile publishes nothing to read, so the lookup stops rather than guessing.
  • It does not claim a complete video list. The public embed surface exposes the ten most recent items. Anything that reported “all 1,510 videos” from a server request would be inventing the rest.

Reading the video counters

Plays are counted when a video starts, not when it finishes, which is why play counts on TikTok run far ahead of likes. A video with 37M plays and 2.3M likes sits at roughly 6% likes-per-play; that ratio is the quickest read on whether a large play count came from people who actually stayed.

Comments and shares are the expensive interactions — they cost the viewer something. If you are judging an account for a partnership, look at shares per play before total plays: it is much harder to inflate. For a single composite number, the engagement rate calculator turns likes, comments and shares into one figure.

From views to money

If you are here because you want to know what a view count is worth, the TikTok money calculator converts average views and follower count into a Creator Rewards estimate and a brand deal range, with the assumptions written out.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a TikTok account to use the viewer?

No. The viewer reads what TikTok already renders into the public embed pages, so there is no login, no cookie and no app install. Private accounts are excluded by design.

Why does the profile only show ten videos?

That is the limit of the public embed surface TikTok exposes to a server-side request. The full grid inside the app is served by a signed endpoint that cannot be called without a browser session, so a viewer that claimed to list everything would be guessing. Ten recent videos is the honest ceiling. That listing is also the first thing TikTok throttles for a given server address, which is why the page sometimes falls back to account totals only.

Can I download the video from here?

No, and that is deliberate. Playback runs inside TikTok's own player iframe. The site never receives, stores or re-serves the video file, which keeps it a viewing tool rather than a download tool.

Why are the follower counts on this page rounded?

The embed surface publishes rounded figures such as 96.3M. For the exact number, use the follower counter, which reads the full profile page and returns the precise integer.

What happens when a video is deleted or made private?

The lookup returns a not-found response instead of stale numbers. Results are cached for ten minutes on profiles and thirty minutes on single videos, so a very recent change may take that long to reflect.
