TikTok money calculator

Turn average views and follower count into two numbers: what TikTok itself is likely to pay per video, and what a brand is likely to pay for one sponsored post.

Accepts 42000, 42,000, 42K, 1.2M. Everything is calculated in your browser.

How each estimate is built

Creator Rewards pays per qualifying view, so the model starts from average views per video, converts to thousands, and multiplies by a RPM range of$0.20–$0.60 per 1,000 views for a US audience. That range already accounts for the fact that only a share of views qualify — videos shorter than one minute and traffic outside the For You feed do not count.

Brand deals are priced two ways and the calculator takes the higher floor. The first is reach-based: views ÷ 1,000 × $10–$25. The second is tier-based: nano, micro, mid, macro and mega accounts each carry a customary per-post range regardless of a single video's performance. Applying both stops the model from quoting $40 for a 400,000-follower account whose last video underperformed.

Country multipliers

Rates are indexed to the United States. These are approximate relative multipliers assembled from published CPM ranges, not official TikTok figures.

AudienceMultiplierNote
United States1.00×Baseline market
Australia0.80×High CPM, smaller inventory
United Kingdom0.75×Close to US rates
Canada0.75×Close to US rates
Germany0.60×Strong but smaller budgets
France0.55×Lower brand budgets
Brazil0.18×Large audience, low CPM
Indonesia0.07×Largest audience, lowest CPM

The multiplier is the single biggest source of error in any TikTok earnings estimate. An account with 55% Indonesian traffic, as several large download and comedy pages have, earns a small fraction of what the raw view count suggests.

What actually moves the number

  • Video length. Under one minute, Creator Rewards pays nothing. This single rule reshapes strategy more than any other.
  • Audience geography. Worth up to a 10× swing between the cheapest and most expensive markets.
  • Niche. Finance, software and health attract far higher brand budgets than general entertainment at identical view counts.
  • Usage rights. A brand that wants to run your video as a paid ad for six months should pay multiples of the organic post rate. If a deal does not mention usage, that is a question to ask before agreeing a number.

Check the inputs first

Average views is the number most people guess wrong. Open the profile and divide total plays over the last ten videos by ten — or use the TikTok viewer, which lists recent videos with their play counts. For the follower figure, the follower counter returns the exact integer rather than the rounded figure shown in the app.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate is the Creator Rewards estimate?

It is a planning range, not a prediction. Payout depends on how many of your views qualify, the RPM TikTok assigns that month, and where the viewers are. Two accounts with identical view counts can differ by a factor of three. Use the range to sanity-check expectations, not to forecast income.

What replaced the TikTok Creator Fund?

The Creator Rewards Program. The fund paid a flat rate per thousand views and was widely reported as paying a few cents. Creator Rewards pays more per qualifying view but only counts views on videos longer than one minute, which is why short clips that used to earn something now earn nothing.

Do I need 10,000 followers to earn anything?

For Creator Rewards, yes — the published thresholds are 10,000 followers and 100,000 views in the last 30 days, plus videos over one minute. Brand deals have no platform threshold; a 2,000-follower account with a tight niche can be paid, just at a smaller number.

Why does the country setting change the result so much?

Advertisers pay far more to reach viewers in the US, UK, Canada and Australia than in most other markets, and Creator Rewards payout tracks that. The same million views can be worth several times more with a US audience than with an audience concentrated in lower-CPM markets.

Should I quote a brand from views or from followers?

Quote from the stronger of the two, and say which one you used. Brands buying reach calculate cost per thousand views; brands buying credibility look at follower tier. The calculator applies both and takes the higher floor, because that is what an experienced creator would do in a negotiation.
